[Pick Of The Week] Small Black – “Boys Life”

Praise the music gods! Small Black is back!

The Brooklyn indie outfit have released new single, “Boys Life,” off of their upcoming LP, Best Blues, out on October 16. Inspired by frontman Josh Kolenik’s personal Hurricane Sandy story of rummaging through the ruins of his family’s Long Island home, the singer managed to uncover old pictures and letters of his parents never seen before, telling New York Times Style Magazine that he, “…attempted to solve the mystery that often eludes, even as it’s right there in front of us: Where did I come from? Who made me?”
