[Pick Of The Week] Foster Olson – “Over Me”

We just discovered the magic that is Foster Olson and we have a hunch she’s going to be massive pretty soon. The half-Australian Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter grew up with a love for jazz rooted musicians like Billie Holiday and has been compared to the likes of fellow newcomer, Bishop Briggs, and industry veteran Florence & The Machine.

New single, “Over Me,” is an addicting mix of both modern pop with jazz influences blended with the singer’s soulful, vocal prowess. This isn’t one to be missed!

My dad was diagnosed with cancer and my boyfriend at the time had just moved in with me when I realized he wasn’t the right fit for me. And then I met this other guy who was so perfect for me, but I didn’t know how to get out of the relationship I was currently in,” Olson states. “’Over Me’ is really about believing the perfect person might be hanging over you somewhere.”
