[Listening Party] All Tvvins – ‘IIVV’

In case you’re not familiar, All Tvvins is an Irish duo that have made their name a stand out since the very beginning. Comprised of bassist and lead singer Conor Adams and guitarist Lar Kaye, the band’s long awaited debut album, IIVV, hit the shelves this past Friday and needless to say we’re already so into it.

During the past year the duo released a couple singles such as “Thank You,” “Unbelievable” and “These 4 Words” that served well enough to keep up their fans excitement for this record. Adams and Kaye are clearly not afraid to experiment with their sound which actually is what makes them stand out from the rest of current incoming scene mates.

IIVV is a dreamy combination of 80’s inspired modern alt-rock. Stand out tracks, in my own personal criteria, include the opening “Book,” midway “Too Young To Live,” “These 4 Words” and “Unbelievable,” which makes up for a perfect closure of the 10 track album.

I think it’s safe to say that for a debut album, this one is a powerful one. The duo are only at the beginning of showing us what they’re capable of, which at least for now, we know for sure their talent is beyond amazing. With a neatly rhythmical sound, All Tvvins are already on their way to take on the world and we’ll be here to follow them throughout this successful journey.
