[LISTEN] Wickerbird – “Bugbear”

The Cascadian region of the Pacific Northwest is a special place in America, a fact known well by Blake Cowan, who goes by the moniker of Wickerbird. Upon first listen, you’ll be transported back to the first time you listened to Bon Iver – sorrow washing over you like a waterfall until all is wiped clean and only serenity remains. Cowan secluded himself in a trailer in Washington’s Mount Rainier for his upcoming release, The Leaf Maker, finding inspiration in the forest and even capturing some of nature’s magic for good measure.
