[LISTEN] Motherhood – “Save Me”

A little optimism never hurt anyone and we might have found the secret summer indie hit of the year now that it’s already August. As much as we’d like to keep it our own little treasure before it blows up, it totally goes against our mission to withhold such information so, here it goes.

The artist in question is Liverpool, UK based four-piece Motherhood. Their newest release, “Save Me,” is a step forward becoming a more established entity within the indie-pop community. At first, the tropical sound may not be the most original path to take. Mainstream pop music is overusing it lately but the band still managed to make it work. As the guitars and synth kicks in, the generic extra layer becomes a fun and engaging feature.

If you’re looking for new tunes to add to a fun/dance playlist, “Save Me” by Motherhood is a must and it’s out now!
