[LISTEN] GEMS – “Poison”

It’s quite obvious that all GEMS tracks are lyrically moving, but new Every Full Moon track, “Poison,” takes poignancy to another level.

“It was my mistake to trust in fate to show me the way to go.” Nothing speaks greater than that simple line, yet for me personally, I always found it difficult to put into words. Dreams can change our whole perspective on life, but unfortunately in most cases, falling too hard can have tragic consequences.

“This song embodies the doubt and disillusionment I felt as the magical world I had created with my partner of 9 years slowly began to crumble,” stated singer Lindsay Pitts. “I relate to the notion of falling into a crazy dream only to find yourself trapped in ways you never could have imagined.”
