[LISTEN] Forebear – “People’s Champ”

The minute I heard Los Angeles’ Forebear this past winter, I was smitten. Blending cinematic indie rock with just enough 90’s alt-rock nostalgia to remind you of your childhood, the band manages to capture the struggle between our interpersonal crises and living in the age of constant awareness of global tensions with a substance unheard from the masses lately. New single, “People’s Champ,” off of the band’s upcoming EP, Cody, was produced with Scott Gordon (Alanis Morissette) and narrates the story of lost love poignantly in under three minutes.
