[LISTEN] Basement Revolver – “Johnny”

If there’s two things I love, it’s debut tracks from promising, emerging artists and bold 90’s nostalgia. We’re pretty sure they’re gonna get this a lot, but if Canadian trio, Basement Revolver, doesn’t remind you of The Cranberries meets Annalibera, nothing will. Debut track, “Johnny,” is a shoegazy dream as lead singer Chrisy Hurn delves deep into the difficulties of a past relationship, hence her stating, “It’s a really bad time right now,” throughout the song. Shame on you, Johnny…whoever you are.
