LISTEN: Anavae – “Feel Alive”

The wonderful world of Twitter has led me to many amazing things – new music being one of them. We’re always on the hunt here at The Daily Listening for something to make our hearts (and ears) go, “Holy shit!” The London duo you are about to hear did just that for me.

Anavae, comprised of Rebecca Need-Menear and Jamie Finch, are an unsigned alternative rock duo from London with killer everything that we guarantee will pretty much be ruling your headphones from now on. Why they are unsigned is a mystery but I suggest somebody get on that!

New single, “Feel Alive,” well, does just that. I wasn’t expecting such a heavy chorus after hearing the intro but it feels right. Think VERSA meets PVRIS + some pretty synths and bad ass vocals from Menear and you’ve got yourself the perfect soundtrack to tackle the week. In fact, I support any sort of collaboration with PVRIS. Period.
