[LISTEN] Alyeska – “Lose My Place”

LA band, Alyeska, (the archaic spelling of Alaska, named after frontwoman Alaska Reid) are such a breath of fresh air – and one I didn’t mind coming through my inbox this week. New single, “Lose My Place,” captures the conflicted emotions of social disconnection. The song was written during Reid’s struggle of finding a place to call home as she split her time between her hometown in Montana and new home in Los Angeles.
