Gypsy & The Cat Release New Track, “Climb Into The Music”

I honestly cannot think of a better song to kick off the launch of The Daily Listening than this gem.

Melbourne’s Gypsy & The Cat first captured my attention in the fall of 2010 with their debut single, “Time To Wander,” off of their glorious debut LP, Gilgamesh. Since then, the Aussie duo, comprised of Xavier Bacash and Lionel Towers, have gone on to release another smash, The Late Blue, in 2012. Now, after a three-year hiatus, the synthpop gods are finally back with two new tracks, “Lost Control,” [STREAM HERE] and collab with Paul Kelly, “Climb Into The Music.”

The track opens with soaring, chilling vibes of bliss, perfect for all of those upcoming summer road trips on the horizon. With its lingering theme of letting the music be your safety shield and best friend, I’m starting to think it’ll be the perfect theme song for this brand new baby we just launched. Can’t wait for that third album!
