Daily Discovery: Major Minus

We here at The Daily Listening believe there is no better feeling than discovering new talent and sharing it with the world. Finding new music leads to the potential of making new memories and filling the listener with hope for better days. The artist you are about to meet does just that. Ear tested, TDL approved!

Despite the band name, Southern California’s Major Minus is a major plus to the ever-growing indie rock scene. Comprised of Charlie Smith, Erwin Mendez, Noah Herndon and Lukas Hutzler, this on-the-rise four-piece are between the ages of 16-18, but boast the power of bands twice their age.  90’s-infused “Trust” displays Smith’s raw vocal ability that only proves why they’ve been garnering tons of acclaim. The band have recently worked with Grammy nominated producer Ghian Wright (Paul McCartney, Oasis) on their debut EP.
