[Daily Discovery] Jessie Early

Nashville indie-pop artist, Jessie Early, is getting ready to release her debut EP, Wild Honey, on March 31 and we couldn’t be more excited! A project years in the making, Wild Honey is a mixture of 80’s pop sensibilities with carefully-crafted singer-songwriter lyrical content perfect for some self-reflecting and those upcoming spring road trips.

Current single, “Holy Ghost,” is a breezy dream come true that we can’t get enough of. About the song, the singer stated: “I feel like a lot of people are recreating the iconic 80s sounds right now, but I really wanted to explore some of the stuff I didn’t necessarily feel like people were doing — big arena drums, guitar solos, and super arranged background vocals. My parents are both musicians and songwriters, so I grew up in Nashville listening to Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen, and Tom Petty. Those were some of the sounds and arrangements that have really inspired this particular song.”
