I had the opportunity to catch Provo, UT’s Fictionist open for Neon Trees this week. I wasn’t too familiar with them before but their live show really captured my attention – raw energy meets synth meets rock = my kind of jam! The band’s self-titled debut boasts all of those things previously mentioned and more, guaranteed to make you get up and dance. The proof can be heard below. Unfortunately, “Lock and Key” wasn’t on the set list but the video is a gem.
