17 year-old singer/songwriter, Em Rossi, has been compared to the likes of Fiona Apple, Kate Voegele, Sara Bareilles and Fleurie. That must ignite some crazy pressure! But those comparisons are justified once you hear her sing as Rossi demonstrates a certain depth way beyond her years.
Raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Rossi is a true introvert at heart, stating, “I’ve always lived my life internally, walking my own path and music has been my outlet to express who I am.” Buzz track, “Earthquake,” was penned after the singer unexpectedly lost her father two years ago, making the track an anthem of survival for anyone who has ever dealt with anything harrowing.
