I recently fell in love with the lush, dreamy sounds of Day Wave – the project of Oakland, CA musician, Jackson Phillips – through a new Twitter friend this week (shout out to @mopage19!) The singer is set to release his new EP, Hard To Read, on March 4, featuring teaser tracks, “Gone” and the newly released “Stuck.” Reminiscent of some shoegaze meets dreampop, Day Wave is perfect for those beach days or for a rainy day in for the introverts.
