Cannons: Sexy, Stargazing Dream-Pop

You know that scene in Empire Records when Lucas is in Atlantic City and that blonde chick is all, “Baby, you are sex?” Well, one listen to Los Angeles trio Cannons and you’ll be sharing that same sentiment.

After creating major buzz with their 2014 EP, Up All Night, the synth-boogie trio comprised of Michelle Joy, Ryan Clapham and Paul Davis, are making waves with their newest EP installment titled, Spells. With only three tracks to hold us over until the next release, I think it’s safe to say these guys are my new favorite band to stargaze to. Sexy, dreamy and drenched in glittery bliss, Cannons have definitely cast a spell on me and are on my roster of bands to watch for this summer.
